Rice-to-pea size hail fell from 1718 MDT till 1723 MDT and from 1742 MDT till 1747 MDT, suggesting that two thunderstorm cells were responsible for the hail. The hailstones were 1 to 4 inches apart.
The rain washed the hailstones to the bases of east-and-north-facing structures: The accumulated hail was melting quickly at 1845 MDT. |
