Sunny and hot with light winds, then mostly clear and warm overnight with light winds. The high temperature was around eighty seven degrees and the low around sixty four degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful a day. Chicory, Wild Morning Glories, Catnip, Thistle species, Daisy species, Prunella vulgaris, Soapwort, Milkweed, Mullein, White and Red Clover are blooming. Blueberries, Choke Cherries and Red Raspberries are ripening. First planted corn is 80-88" tall, second late corn 48-60" tall, latest corn 28-36" tall.  View

No rain since July 17. Very high temps and humidity have caused our grass to go brown and crunchy. Daily watering of my plants is necessary to keep them alive. Farming fields without watering are very dry and suffering. Fire danger is high  View

We are officially listed as a drought area. Extreme dry conditions and lack of ground water. Wells are going dry, grasslands are dying and lakes are extremely low. The lake on our property is down by approx 2-3 feet.  View
