With no precipitation in June we are dry, but this is normal.  Most annual range plants have matured and dried with a few remaining green in shaded or riparian areas.  Woody species are probably getting drier as soil moisture lessens, adding to wildfire danger.  June was cooler than normal, perhaps reducing the drying, but that appeared to be offset with more wind than normal.  Irrigation water is available for pastures and crops.
